Biomass heating for Berovo municipality, Macedonia
Due to our significant experience in making feasibility studies for Wood mass heating systems in cities and municipalities in Croatia, North-West Croatia Regional Energy Agency was chosen to participate in this project as a consultant.
Project goals:
- Development of a feasibility study on possible investment in wood mass heating system for selected public buildings in municipality of Berovo, Macedonia;
Activities within the project:
- To assess the technical specifications and recommended heating system for the selected public building;
- To assess the value of the investment in selected public building;
- To estimate wood mass (quantity, type, quality criteria) that needs to be supplied;
- To give recommendations of wood mass storage;
- To give recommendations of other important aspects such: processing wood in proper wood source (chips, pellets or other).
