Picturebook Tell me about energy

An initiative to raise awareness for efficient energy consumption and advantages of renewable energy sources use has started to develop only in the last couple of years.  Therefore, the level of awareness is still insufficient especially with children. The only solution is to start with education at the earliest age so children could develope an active attitude towards energy consumption and environment protection. As a result, an educational picturebook Tell me about energy was developed.

Project goals:

• Picturebook approaches children with topics related to energy in a way that is both fun and educational. It directs their attitudes towards energy issues from the earliest age.
• The content of the picturebook was developed in a simple and comprehensible way so it could be used by adults who work with children (parents, teachers in schools and kindergartens) for educational purposes.

Activities within the project:

• Development of picturebooks for City of Zagreb, Ivanic-grad, Samobor and Karlovac county.
